I have fallen oh so low

Broken Wings

Shattered Dreams

Set me free, just set me free

All this turmoil in my head

Distorted visions

That I misread

Along my way I fell down

I can't get up

I'm beaten to the ground

There's nothing left

But the shell of someone I used to be

I can barely see her; she's out of my reach

Someone once told me “its gonna be all right”

But they do not know my frailty and the torment and the dread

I wear it well, for I am masquerading

I Hear Bipolar is genetic.....

....is it true?????????????

I know it's genetic, but exactly "how genetic", so to speak, is it? I know I'm young but I have an intense fear that when I grow up and become a mother my child would be bipolar like me. I don't want that, not for the sake of myself, but for the sake of the child. I would feel relentless and utter guilt, having brought someone into the world who would have to face the fears that I do. It's just not fair to put someone through that.

Whats more, once I had done so, I was not only equipped to deal with my late Husband s illness, I was able to see past the illness and see Anthony for him.

In my opinion, this was a special gift to me as seeing past the illness is very hard to achieve but nevertheless, ...

Hi heres a song/lyrics I wrote.

Black Orchid

I can smell him

His scent won't fade

I can pick him

But he will bloom again

Everywhere i go

Black Orchid roots to me

Everywhere i turn

He rains black petals down on me

I try to stamp him out

But he keeps coming back

I close my eyes

Its then, that I crack

Everywhere i go

Black Orchid roots to me

Everywhere i turn

He rains black petals down on me

I revealed my wisdom

But he needed more

Welcome to Bipolar Global.

Its sometimes difficult to live with Bipolar Disorder but it can be controlled.

From high to low. From mania to depression. From recklessness to listlessness. These are the extremes associated with bipolar disorder, a mental illness characterized by mood instability that can be serious and disabling. Bipolar disorder is also known as manic-depression or manic-depressive illness — manic behavior is one extreme of this disorder, and depression is the other.
